BELTON - The Lady Bulldogs 8th Grade A volleyball team took 3rd Place on Saturday in the Belton ISD Volleyball Tournament.

In their opener, the defeated Belton Middle School by a score of 25-21, 25-23. In their second match they fell to North Belton 25-22, 25-13.

Bonham then faced South Belton in the 3rd Place game and defeated the Lady Tigers by a score of 25-18, 25-20.

A few standouts for the Lady Bulldogs included Khalie Rayas and Madelyn Barfoot as they exemplified leadership on the court with their communication and attacks to rally their team.

Bonham improved to 3-4 on the season and is set to host North Belton on Thursday at Bulldog Gym beginning at 8:00 pm.
