HEWITT, TX — The Bonham Middle School Bulldog 7th Grade B football team kept their perfect season rolling on Monday evening, delivering a hard-fought 12-6 road victory over River Valley Middle School. With the win, the Bulldogs improve to 3-0 on the season.

Offensively, Bonham was led by Offensive Player of the Game, running back CJ Rector. Rector put on a show on the ground, rushing for over 100 yards and punching in a key touchdown. Quarterback Bennett Reed provided strong leadership under center, consistently moving the chains with multiple first-down runs while connecting with wide receiver Asher Corley for a crucial first-down completion through the air.

The Bulldog defense was equally impressive when the game was on the line. Defensive Tackle Nolan Westbrook earned Defensive Player of the Game honors after dominating the trenches with multiple tackles and making the game-sealing interception. Linebacker Greyson Anderson delivered a game-changing play of his own, picking off a River Valley pass and taking it all the way to the house for a defensive touchdown.
