ROBINSON, Texas — The Bonham Middle School 8th grade boys cross country team ran Wednesday evening in the Robinson Middle School Cross Country Meet, held on the course at Robinson High School in Robinson.

Competing in a deep field of Central Texas middle school programs, the Bulldogs were led by an outstanding performance from Dawson McCauley, who earned a top-5 individual finish on the two-mile course.

Although Bonham Middle School did not field enough runners to qualify or score in the official team standings, the individual Bulldogs posted strong efforts against a crowded field of over 130 competitors.

McCauley delivered a stellar run to place 5th overall in the two-mile race, highlighting the top performances of the meet and pacing the Bulldogs.
