The Bonham Middle School 8th grade boys cross country team pushed through a competitive field on Wednesday evening at the Broncho Middle School Cross Country Meet, hosted at Crossroads Park in Temple. Competing across a grueling 2-mile course, the Bulldogs put forth strong individual efforts on local turf.

Bonham Bulldog Performances

Leading the charge for the Bulldogs was Dawson McCauley, who delivered a standout, medal-worthy performance. McCauley surged into the Top 20 of the meet, claiming an impressive 4th place finish overall with a time of 12:51.21.

Although Bonham did not have enough runners to qualify in the team standings, all three Bulldog athletes pushed hard to the finish line:

South Belton's Gerik Gerhard captured the individual crown, but McCauley stayed right on the heels of the top runners throughout the race.
