TEMPLE, TX – The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade B basketball team traveled to North Belton Middle School on Wednesday night, facing off in a tough road environment. Despite a resilient effort and a standout individual performance from Rayson Kindred, the Bulldogs ultimately fell to the Broncos with a final score of 36-21.

The Bulldogs struggled to find their rhythm early on against a disciplined North Belton defense. While Bonham managed to create several high-quality scoring opportunities, the Broncos' transition game proved to be the difference maker, allowing them to pull away in the second half.

Leading the Charge

Rayson Kindred was the focal point of the Bulldog offense throughout the night. Kindred accounted for over half of the team’s total points, finishing with a team-high 12 points. His ability to attack the paint kept Bonham within striking distance for much of the contest.

Supporting Kindred in the scoring column were:

Daniel Delafuente: 6 points

Ayric Lavan: 2 points

While the scoreboard didn't favor the Bulldogs this time, the team showed flashes of strong interior defense and hustle that they will look to carry into their final performance of the season.

Looking Ahead: The Season Finale

The Bulldogs won’t have to wait long for a chance at redemption. They return home to wrap up the 2025-2026 regular season in a highly anticipated matchup.

Opponent: Travis Science Academy
