The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade B team had their home opener on Wednesday in which they defeated their crosstown rival Travis by a score of 59-11.

The Bulldogs started fast and did not look back as they defeated their crosstown rivals. Josiah Larkin tallied 7 first quarter points as the Bulldogs raced out to a 18-5 lead on the Mustangs. The Bulldogs continued to extend their dominance in the second quarter as they once again outscored the Mustangs 18-4 and led 36-9 by halftime.

The Bulldogs were led by Zephania Gibson with 13 points (three 3-pointers) and Jeremiah Larkin with 12 points.

Also contributing to the victory were Elijah Ontiveros with 9 points, Kaden Brown and Steven Taylor each with 8 points, Jalil Wilkerson, Jamie Sanchez 4 points and with 2 points each were Drew Brischke, Joshua Paine and Michael Peoples.

Bonham returns to action on December 12th when they will travel to McGregor to take on River Valley M.S. beginning at 6:30 pm.
