The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A football defeated Copperas Cove Junior High on Tuesday evening by a score of 21 at Herman Anderson Field at Bonham Middle School.

The Offensive Player of Game for the Bulldogs was RB Anthony Ramos with 113 yards rushing, and 2 TDs.

Also shining for the Bulldogs were RB Jordan Lawson with 98 yards rushing and 1 TD; QB Zephaniah Gibson with 65 yards passing and WR Joseph Moreno with 48 yards receiving and 52 yards rushing.

K Austyn Shuster had a great night in special teams with 1 extra point FG, 1 one point conversion and one successful onside kick.

The Defensive Player of the Game was DL Tyler Knight with 2 tackles for losses, 4 tackles and 3 fumble recoveries.

Also leading the Bulldogs on defense DL Austyn Shuster with 7 tackles, 2 tackles for losses; LB Jordan Lawson 2 sacks, 5 tackles, 4 TFLS, 2 forced fumbles; LB Jamie Sanchez with 4 tackles, 53 yard kick return; LB Jeremiah Goodman 4 tackles and CB Steven Taylor with 1 interception and 4 tackles.

Bonham will return to action on October 29th when they will host SC Lee Junio High in their final game of the season.
