The Bonham Lady Bulldog 7th grade cross country team competed in the Central Texas District Cross Country championships on Wednesday at Lions Park in Temple.
Bonham took 5th Place in the team standings with 132 points while River Valley won the team title with 43 points.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by Kennedy Taft who earned the silver medal in the individual standings. Taft earned the 2nd Place finish by running the 500 meter race in a time of 14:50 as she narrowly missed out on the individual title with Brighton Boyd of River Valley taking 1st Place with a time of 14:44.
