BELTON - The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A football fell to Belton Middle School by a score of 24-20 on Wednesday night at Tiger Field.

The Offensive Player of Game for the Bulldogs was QB Drew Brischke with 62 yards rushing, 1 rushing TD, 73 passing and 2 passing touchdowns.

Also shining for the Bulldogs were RB Anthony Ramos with 54 yards rushing; WR Steven Taylor with 3 catches, 42 yards receiving, 2 TDs catches and TE Jordan Lawson with 1 reception for 18 yards.

The Defensive Player of the Game was nose tackle Suwae'Vyone Ockelberry with 5 tackles, 1 tackle for loss and 2 blocked kicks.

Also leading the Bulldogs on defense were Kat Safety Joseph Moreno-Garza with1 interception, 1 tackle for loss, 3 tackles; Boom Safety Anthony Ramos with 4 tackles and LB Jamie Sanchez with 4 tackles.

Bonham, 0-3 on the season will return to action on October 1 when they will host North Belton Middle School at 6:15 pm.
