The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A football hosted the Lake Belton Bronchos in their home opener on Tuesday night. The battle between two very good teams saw the Bronchos come out on top of the Bulldogs by a score of 20-14.

The Offensive Player of Game for the Bulldogs was RB Anthony Ramos with 108 yards rushing and one TD.

Also shining for the Bulldogs were QB Drew Brischke with 53 yards rushing, 28 yards passing and one passing TD. while WR Michael Peoples had 1 reception for 4 yards and one touchdown.

The Defensive Player of the Game was LB Jordan Lawson with 5 tackles for losses and 2 quartetback hurries. while DE Jesus Bravo Lara had 3 tackles for losses.

Bonham, 0-2 on the season will return to action on September 24th when they will travel to Tiger Field to take on Belton Middle School at 6:15 pm.
