SALADO - The Bonham Middle School 7th Grade Boys Cross Country team competed on Wednesday evening at the Soaring Eagles Cross Country Meet, held at Salado Middle School in Salado. The Bulldogs put forth a hard-fought effort across the 1-mile course, facing off against top regional talent.

Asher Corley spearheaded the effort for the Bulldogs, delivering a standout performance to lead the team across the finish line. Every runner fought hard through the crowded 103-athlete field:

Note: While no Bonham runners cracked the Top 20 in this competitive field, Asher Corley posted the team's best individual effort by placing 37th overall.

In the team standings, Bonham Middle School finished 5th overall with a total team score of 150 points and an average time of 13:41. Santa Rita Middle School took home the team championship title.
