TROY, TX — The Bonham Middle School Lady Bulldogs officially kicked off their track and field season this past Friday, competing under the lights at the Troy Trojan Relays. In a competitive field dominated by the Salado Lady Eagles, who took the team title with a massive 332 points, the Lady Bulldogs battled their way to a 6th-place team finish with 13 points.
While the team score reflects a building phase for the program, the individual grit shown on the track and in the field events provided plenty of highlights for the Temple faithful.
Top Performers
The standout performance of the night belonged to Amaris Lawrence, who secured the team's highest individual ranking. Lawrence dominated the Shot Put ring, launching a throw of 30’0” to earn a 3rd-place podium finish.
