BELTON, TX — The Bonham Bulldogs 7th grade B team put on a defensive clinic Thursday night, traveling to Belton Middle School and returning home with a commanding 31-13 victory.

From the opening tip, the Bulldogs established a physical presence that the Tigers struggled to match. Bonham's transition offense flourished, turning defensive rebounds and steals into quick points on the other end of the floor.

Guajardo Leads the Charge

The story of the night was Mason Guajardo, who put on a scoring exhibition. Guajardo found his rhythm early and never looked back, leading all scorers with 14 points. Whether attacking the paint or finding open space in the midrange, he served as the engine for the Bulldogs' offense throughout the contest.

Balanced Effort Secures the Win

While Guajardo handled the bulk of the scoring, he had plenty of support from a disciplined Bonham rotation:
Kaden Prempeh was a force near the rim, chipping in 6 points.

Michael Phillips and Marcos Flores provided steady secondary scoring with 4 points apiece.
Jaiden Taylor added a bucket for 2 points, while Sean Prater rounded out the scoring with a gritty 1 point from the charity stripe.

The Bulldogs' defense was perhaps the most impressive aspect of the win, holding Belton to just 13 points over four quarters. By clogging the passing lanes and contesting every shot, Bonham ensured the Tigers never had a chance to mount a comeback.
