The Bonham Lady Bulldog 7th Grade A basketball team hosted Midway Middle School on Thursday night and dropped a hard fought 36-33 game to the Lady Panthers.

Despite falling into a 6 point deficit in the first quarter 10-4, the Lady Bulldogs battle back all evening to stay within 2-4 points much of the second half. Bonham had multipole opportunities in the fourth to tie the game but could not quite connect on the tying bucket.

The Lady Bulldogs were led by Kylan Russell with 15 points and Chloe Mikuda with 11 points.

Also for the Lady Bulldogs, Brynley Cole had 4 points, Isabella Guerra 2 points and Malaysia Teague with 1 point.

Bonham will return to action on January 8 when they will will host Belton Middle School beginning at 7:00 pm.
