The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A basketball team opened the 2025-26 season on Thursday with a 59-42 victory over Lamar Middle School .

The Bulldogs were led by a quartet of Bulldogs in double figure scoring with Dakai Small 15 points, Max Westbrook with 14, Daniel Jones 12 and Ayedon Robinson with 10.

Also for Bonham, Ben Hall 4 points and Jevniell Rosa-Rivera with 2 points.

Bonham returns to action on December 3 when they will host Lake Belton Middle School at Bulldog Gym beginning at 8:00 pm.
