The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A football team rallied back from a 22-8 deficit to defeat River valley Middle School by a score of 46-43 at Herman Anderson Field on Wednesday evening.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive MVP, RB Ayedon Robinson who had 224 yards rushing and 4 TDs.

Also for the Bulldogs, QB Clay Bouvier had 118 yards passing and 1 passing TD; RB Levonte Henderson with 62 yards rushing and 1 TD; WR Danny Jones with 4 catches 125 total yards and 1 TD; WR Max Westbrook with 3 catches for 53 total yards and recovered an onside kick and WR Benjamin Hall with 2 catches for 33 receiving yards.

The offensive line did a great job protecting their quarterback and running backs while kicker Noah Willis went 5/6 on XP FGs and kicked a successful onside kick.

Defensively for the Bulldogs, Ben Hall, Kyrie Green, and Danny Jones all had big pass breakups to finish out the game on defense.

Bonham, 4-2 on the season will return to action on October 21 when they will host Lake Belton Middle School beginning at 6:15 pm.
