HEWITT - The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A football team defeated Copperas Cove Junior High by a score of 26-13 on Tuesday evening.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive MVP, RB Ayedon Robinson who had 193 total yards and 3 rushing TDs.

Also for the Bulldogs, QB Clay Bouvier completed 5 passes for 145 yards and 1 TD while WR Kyrie Green had 1 catch for 32 yards and 1 TD.

The Defensive Player of the Game was DE Jevniel Rosa Rivera who had 3 sacks and 3 tackles.

Also for Bonham, Christian Matamoros had 1 sack and a tackle;
Rylind Espy with 1 sack and 2 tackles and CB Darren Smith with 2 tackles and 4 pass break ups.

Kicker Noah Willis was 3/3 on XP FGs and LB Danny Jones returned a blocked XP for a safety.

Bonham, 3-2 on the season will return to action on October 15 when they will host River valley Middle School beginning at 6:15 pm.
