The Bonham Bulldog 7th Grade A football team hosted Copperas Cove Junior High at Herman Anderson Field on Monday evening and played the Bullpups to a 18-18 tie.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive MVP RB Derek Shamlin with 152 yards rushing and 2 TDs.

Also for the Bulldogs, QB Parker Huffman also added a rushing TD.

The Defensive Player of the Game was CB Audreas Lane who had 5 tackles and 2 interceptions.

Also for the Bulldogs, DE Derek Shamlin had 2 sacks and 4 tackles;
DE Kevin Brown with 1 sack, 2 tackles, 3 QB hurries and safety Bryce Robinson with 5 tackles and 4 pass breakups.

Bonham, 2-2-1 on the season will return to action on October 14th when they will travel to Hewitt to face River Valley Middle School beginning at 6:15 pm.
