HEWITT - The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade A football team earned a huge road victory on Tuesday evening as they defeated Midway Middle School by a score of 26-14 at Panther Field in Hewitt.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive MVP, WR Danny Jones who had 3 receptions for 84 yards, 2 TDs, 32 yards rushing and a rushing TD.

Also for the Bulldogs, QB Clay Bouvier threw for 158 yards and 3 TDs; RB Ayedon Robinson had 86 total yards and WR Kyrie Green caught 2 passes for 55 yards and 1 TD.

The Defensive Player of the Game was LB Danny Jones who had 10 tackles, 3 tackles for losses and 1 forced fumble.

Also for Bonham, DL Jevniell Rosa Rivera had 2 tackles for losses and 1 sack; DL Christian Matamoros 3 tackles and 1 sack; DL Rylind Espy had 3 tackles and 1 tfl; LB Raymond Alvarado 1 sack; safety Max Westbrook with 4 tackles and 1 fumble recovery.

CB Dakai Small had the game sealing interception to seal the victory for the Bulldogs.

Bonham, 2--2 on the season will return to action on October 7 when they will travel to Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove to take on Copperas Cove Junior High at 6:15 pm.
