HEWITT - The Bonham Bulldog 8th Grade B football team earned their first victory of the season as they traveled to Hewitt and defeated Midway Middle School by a score of 13-6.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive MVP, RB Julian Contreras. Julian rushed for 158 yards, 2 TDs, and an XP conversion.

The Defensive Player of the Game was Lineman Collin Teague with 4 tackles, 1 tackle for a loss, and drew 4 holding penalties.

Also for Bonham, defensive lineman Luke Olsen had 4 tackles for losses.

Bonham, 1-3 on the season will return to action on October 7 when they will travel to Bulldawg Stadium in Copperas Cove to take on Copperas Cove Junior High at 5:00 pm.
