BELTON - The Bonham Bulldog 7th Grade B football team earned their second victory of the season with a 27-22 victory over Belton Middle School on Monday evening.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive Player of the Game QB Karsin Staggers. Karsin had 85 yards passing, 1 passing TD, 104 yards rushing, 1 rushing TD, and 2 xp conversions. Also for the Bulldogs, RB Malik Lawrence had 2 rushing TD's and an extra point conversion.

Bonham won the game in dramatic fashion. After giving up a score to Belton with 30 seconds left, the Bulldogs found themselves down 22-21. Karsin Staggers connected with Karsyn Hamilton on a long pass for a walk off touchdown to win the game.

The Defensive Standout for the Bulldogs was safety Karsin Staggers who made 10 tackles.

Bonham, 2-1 on the season will return to action on September 29th when they will host Midway Middle School in their home opener.
