The Bonham Bulldog 7th Grade A football team earned their first victory of the season with a 24-6 win over South Belton.

The Bulldogs were led by Offensive MVP QB Parker Huffman. Parker had 190 yards passing and 3 TD passes.

Multiple other offensive standouts for Bonham were RB Rony Ixcopal with 54 yards rushing and 1 rushing TD;
WR La'Jaevian Moore had 2 catches for 65 yards and 2 TDs;
WR Audreas Lane with a catch for 52 yards and 1 TD; TE Kevin Brown with 1 catch for 48 yards and WR Leonard Abilez with 1 catch for 25 yards.

The Defensive Player of the Game was CB Audreas Lane. Audreas had 6 tackles and 2 tackles for losses.

Other Defensive Standouts for the Bulldogs were CB Jaysin Rainey with a huge interception in the 4th quarter and LB Cadence Edwards who forced a fumble on kickoff that was recovered by safety Leonard Abilez.

Bonham, 1-1 on the season will return to action on September 22nd when they will travel to Belton High School to take on Belton Middle School at 6:30 pm.
