The Bonham 8th grade boys track & field team participated in the Lake Belton Divisional Meet held at Lake Belton High School on Thursday.
With the anticipation of inclement weather, the field events and 2400 meter run were cancelled and were postponed to be completed at the district meet to be held at Midway High School on April 1st.
However, the races on Thursday were a qualifying meet with the Top Four places in each event now advancing to the Centex District Championships next week.
The Bulldogs finished in 4th Place in the team standings with a total of 37 points while Midway took first place with 145.
The Bulldogs were led by Joseph Moreno-Garza who earned a bronze medal in the 110 hurdles.

Bonham will return to action on Tuesday, April 1 as they will participate in the Centex District Meet at Midway High School.
