The Bonham 8th grade girls track & field team participated in the Lake Belton Divisional Meet held at Lake Belton High School on Thursday.
With the anticipation of inclement weather, the field events and 2400 meter run were cancelled and were postponed to be completed at the district meet to be held at Midway High School on April 1st.
However, the races on Thursday were a qualifying meet with the Top Four places in each event now advancing to the Centex District Championships next week.
The Lady Bulldogs finished in 6th Place in the team standings with a total of 16 points while Midway took first place with 137.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by Sidney mayo who advanced to the district meet in the 400 meters while earning a silver medal.
