The Bonham 7th grade girls track & field team participated in the Lake Belton Divisional Meet held at Lake Belton High School on Thursday.
With the anticipation of inclement weather, the field events and 2400 meter run were cancelled and were postponed to be completed at the district meet to be held at Midway High School on April 1st.
However, the races on Thursday were a qualifying meet with the Top Four places in each event now advancing to the Centex District Championships next week.
The Lady Bulldogs finished in 5th Place in the team standings with a total of 22 points while North Belton took first place with 137.
The Lady Bulldogs were led by Alejandra Jones who took 4th place in the 400 meters and both the 4x200 and 4x400 relays teams as they all advanced to the district meet next Tuesday.
